The Mitford Lodge in Morgan Bay is an ideal family holiday resort offering seaside accommodation at the entrance to South Africa's Wild Coast and has been an essential part of Morgan Bay since the early 1940s.

The accommodation at the Mitford Lodge enables our guests to embrace the distinctive feel of a seaside resort in the heart of nature. Suites include deluxe 3 bedroom apartments to more rustic and personal self-catering units.
Activities:
The Mitford Lodge is a two-minute walk from the Morgan Bay tidal lagoon and beach. Morgan's Bay is popular with anglers and offers superb fishing both at the coast and in the lagoon. Other activities in the area include golf, dolphin and whale watching, hiking and nature trails, rock climbing, surfing, canoeing, horse riding, game viewing and bird watching. Morgan Bay's famous Dolerite Cliffs, which drop over 50 metres into the pounding surf, lie on our doorstep and are ideal vantage points for watching the sunset.
Wining & Dining:
Our Krans Kombuis restaurant and bar is superbly situated on the seafront to provide dining guests with uninterrupted views of the waves and krantzes. Dining at the Mitford Lodge includes sumptuous meals that range from Table de hote to an a la carte menu with meals that include seafood platters, deliciously prepared ribs, steak and Italian cuisine.
Directions:
On the N2, take the Mooiplaas turnoff and follow the R349 leading to Kei Mouth. Turn right a few hundred metres past the airplane at the Ferndale School. Then follow the 7km road to Morgan Bay. Once in Morgan's Bay, follow the road all the way down to the tarred T-junction, and turn right. The Mitford Lodge is located a few hundred metres further along the seafront.
